To praise or to punish

The world changed that is why the methods of children education must be also changed. It is impossible to educate the modern child just giving it the candy or the sweet if it does its homework. And one of the most important problems nowadays is the problem of punishment.

It may sound strange, but punishment always has good intentions. Parents want the child to learn and to remember something and the method of punishment is maybe one of the most traditional in the child's education.

Every punishment has the reason. All parents have the period in their lives when the beloved child starts to irritate parents a lot. Everything the child does form eating to just watching TV set provokes rage and indignation. That is why parents start to punish children because they were watching TV set instead of something, because they ate three candies instead of one, etc.

If to consider everything carefully, you'll understand that all punishments can be substituted by parents' actions. Before crossing the street, take the hand of the child instead of punishing that it didn't give its hand to you; use special equipment to make the wall outlet safe and don't punish the child that it plays with it. Punishment hides the irresponsibility of parents.

The praise will be more efficient than the punishment. It is better to say to the child: "You are so smart. How could such clever person do that?" - Instead of -"You are so stupid. How could you do that?"

And despite all problems and despite all troubles humanity continues to live and to love their children. There are no creatures on our planet that would be able to take care of their children till oldness. And parents always love their children despite everything.

Children brought up in the atmosphere of total control are afraid of independence and responsibility and are very timid, weak, whining and delicate. Suchchildren communicate with other children rarely and are incapable to live in the society.

Every person must be ready for having a child and for being parent. The modern life demands even more care and attention to children because it isfilled with violence, lie, sufferings. And only parents are able to protect their children and to teach them how to survive in this world full of victims.

Adults are stronger and taller and have more knowledge. But children are more natural and sometimes even commit something so unusual and wise that even adults are surprised.

Today all children may be divided into two categories. The first category includes all children that sufferfrom the children of the same age. And the second category is made by children who really scuff at others including other children.
